Most clients feel mild pressure and pinprick sensations, not severe pain. We apply a topical numbing cream beforehand to minimize discomfort, and post-care soothes redness. Treatments are generally well tolerated with only short-lived sensitivity.

We typically recommend a series of three to six sessions spaced four to six weeks apart, depending on skin concerns. Your provider will customize the plan; maintenance treatments every six to twelve months help sustain results.

Downtime is usually minimal: redness and mild swelling can persist 24 to 72 hours, with light flaking for several days. Most clients resume social activities within one to three days while avoiding sun and irritants during healing.

Ideal candidates have dullness, uneven tone, fine lines, enlarged pores, or mild acne scarring. Active infections, recent isotretinoin use, pregnancy, or significant skin diseases may disqualify you; a consultation determines suitability and a safe treatment plan.

Avoid retinoids, strong exfoliants, and recent chemical peels for at least one to two weeks. Protect skin from sun exposure and stop blood-thinning medications only after consulting your physician. Arrive with clean skin and disclose all medications.

Results are long-lasting because collagen remodeling is stimulated, but aging and sun exposure continue to affect skin. Many clients see durable improvement for months, with periodic maintenance treatments and proper sunscreen extending and enhancing results.
