Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Thighs.

Most clients need 6–8 sessions spaced 4–8 weeks apart, depending on hair thickness, growth cycles, and skin type. A consultation provides a personalized plan and estimated sessions for optimal permanent hair reduction on the thighs.

Discomfort is usually mild; many describe a snapping or warm sensation. Our clinic uses advanced cooling and adjustable settings to reduce pain. Topical numbing can be applied on request for sensitive clients during full thigh treatments.

Advanced lasers at our medical spa treat a broad range of skin tones and hair colors, though darker skin or lighter hair may require specialized wavelengths. A pre-treatment assessment determines the safest, most effective approach for you.

Avoid sun exposure, tanning, and self-tanning products for at least two weeks. Shave the area 24 hours before your appointment, avoid waxing or plucking between sessions, and disclose medications or skin conditions during consultation.

Keep the area cool, avoid hot baths, saunas, and intense exercise for 24–48 hours. Apply soothing aloe or prescribed creams, use SPF when exposed, and avoid exfoliation for a few days. Report unusual irritation promptly.

Hair shedding begins within 1–3 weeks after treatment; visible reduction accumulates over multiple sessions. Many clients notice significant smoothness after 2–3 sessions, with optimal long-term reduction after the full recommended course.
