Most clients require four to six VelaShape® sessions spaced weekly or biweekly; your technician will customize a plan based on goals and treated areas. After the initial series, periodic maintenance treatments help preserve contour and cellulite improvements long-term.

VelaShape® involves no significant downtime; you can resume normal activities immediately. Temporary redness, warmth, or mild swelling may occur but usually subsides within hours. Avoid intense exercise or heat for a day if recommended by your clinician.

Most patients describe VelaShape® as comfortable, feeling gentle warmth, suction and rolling massage. Clinicians adjust settings to patient tolerance; topical anesthetics are usually unnecessary. Discomfort is minimal and transient, making the treatment easy to tolerate for most individuals.

Individual VelaShape® sessions typically last 20 to 60 minutes depending on the treated area size and number. Your consultation will determine exact treatment time and plan; combined areas may require longer appointments for comprehensive contouring.

You may notice subtle improvements after the first or second session, with progressive contouring and cellulite reduction through the series. Optimal results are usually visible after the fourth to sixth treatment, with continued improvement over several weeks.

Not everyone is a candidate; contraindications include pregnancy, active infection, certain cardiac devices, recent surgery, or uncontrolled medical conditions. A full health history and consultation will identify risks and determine if VelaShape® is safe and appropriate for you.
